Important Notice Regarding Artificial Intelligence and Service Limitations
Please read this policy carefully. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge and accept the following limitations and risks associated with AI-powered features.
1. How We Use AI
FounderWell (“we,” “us,” “our”) integrates AI-powered tools throughout the platform to support your experience, including:
- Personalized recommendations and insights based on your inputs, goals, and activity within your private workspace
- Knowledge-base and retrieval tools that draw from FounderWell’s proprietary content library, including curated coaching frameworks, educational materials, and platform resources
- Wellness and check-in analysis that processes self-reported signals to surface supportive content and resources
- Community and session tools that may use AI to organize, summarize, or surface relevant content from shared or group interactions
These features use retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and related techniques to deliver contextual, relevant outputs grounded in FounderWell’s knowledge base.
2. Your Content and AI
We distinguish between how different categories of content interact with our AI systems:
- Private workspace content (your personal inputs, notes, check-ins, and session data) is used only to serve you. It is not shared with other users, surfaced in community features, or used to train general-purpose AI models.
- Shared and community content (contributions to group sessions, community forums, or collaborative spaces) may be used to improve platform knowledge resources and features, subject to applicable consent and disclosure.
- Platform knowledge base (FounderWell-curated content, coaching frameworks, creator-licensed materials) is used to power AI features across the platform. Individual user data is not merged into this shared knowledge base without explicit consent.
3. Third-Party AI Services
Where third-party AI infrastructure is used to power platform features, we require contractual restrictions that prohibit those providers from retaining, training on, or reusing your data. We evaluate third-party AI vendors for privacy, security, and data handling practices before integration.
We do not send your personal data to external AI models for general training purposes. If optional features involving external AI services are introduced in the future, they will be clearly disclosed and require your affirmative consent before activation.
4. No Accuracy Guarantee
While we employ sophisticated technology, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any AI-generated output. You acknowledge that AI analysis and recommendations may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. AI outputs are generated through automated processes and are not reviewed by a human before being presented to you.
5. AI Is Not Professional Advice
AI-powered features within the Services are educational and supportive tools. They do not constitute and should not be relied upon as:
- Medical, mental health, or clinical advice
- Legal counsel or regulatory guidance
- Financial, investment, or tax advice
- A substitute for professional judgment in any domain
All AI-generated outputs require your own independent evaluation. If professional guidance is needed, consult a qualified professional.
6. Coaching and AI
AI tools may support coaching interactions (such as surfacing relevant resources or providing session summaries), but AI does not replace the role of a human coach. Coaching delivered through the platform is provided by independent professionals — not by FounderWell’s AI systems. AI-generated suggestions provided alongside coaching are supplementary and informational only.
7. Wellness Features and AI
Wellbeing check-ins and wellness tools use AI to process self-reported data and surface supportive content. These features are not diagnostic tools. They do not assess, screen for, or treat any medical or mental health condition. If our systems detect signals that suggest you may benefit from additional support, we may surface general resources or escalation pathways — this is not a clinical assessment or recommendation.
8. Data Security and AI
We apply technical and organizational safeguards to AI-related data processing, including encryption, access controls, and data isolation between users and tenants. AI indexes and retrieval stores are subject to the same retention and deletion practices described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Risk Assumption
You assume all risks associated with using AI-powered features of the Services, including risks arising from reliance on AI-generated content, technical limitations, system errors, or incomplete outputs. FounderWell’s liability for AI-related claims is governed by the limitation of liability provisions in our Terms of Service.
10. Changes
We may update this AI Usage Policy as our technology, features, and practices evolve. We will notify you of material changes through the Services or by email. Continued use of AI-powered features after changes are posted means you accept the updated version.
